After multiple sold-out concerts in 2014 and 2017, tonight Symphony Nova Scotia, Cape Breton’s Lucy MacNeil of The Barra MacNeil’s and Scott MacMillan will honour Cape Breton’s Queen of Song in a one hour tribute. The concert featuring Rita MacNeil’s music airs at 7:00PM here.
The show was taped a few weeks ago at The Rebecca Cohn Auditorium in Halifax.
The 30 minute show is a compact performance of Rita’s most loved music. Highlights include Flying on Your Own, Working Man, Home I’ll Be, and many more.
