We’ve crunched the numbers and are predicting drops in the price of gasoline and diesel tonight. If you can wait until the morning to fill your tank, you would be advised to do so.
Tomorrow is also the last day that hospital and emergency service workers can receive $10 off a fill up of 20 litres or more of fuel at Ultramar gas stations.
The price of gas should go down about 2.3 cents per litre and the price of diesel will drop about 4 cents per litre across the province.
When you wake up in the morning, the price of gas in Halifax will be set at a minimum around 69.0 cents per litre and diesel will be around a minimum of 75.9 cents per litre. Prices outside of the city in areas like Yarmouth, Amherst, New Glasgow and Sydney will be slightly higher.
