This Nova Scotia MP Is Nominated As The Rising Star In Parliament

Constituents in the riding of Central-Nova are no strangers to Member of Parliament, Sean Fraser. Now his peers in the House of Commons have taken notice of this up and comer and nominated him as one Rising Star Member of Parliament in Maclean’s Parliamentarians of the Year Awards.

Fraser is the only Nova Scotia MP to be nominated once, let alone twice. He is nominated as Best Orator as well.

Raised in Merigomish, NS, Fraser earned his Bachelor of Science degree at St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish where he was also President of the Students’ Union. He then studied law at Dalhousie and in the Netherlands.

Fraser has won two elections in Central Nova and many believe his near future entails a position in cabinet making decisions that effect all Canadians. Sean recently ended speculation that he would be running for leadership of the Nova Scotia Liberal Party. Instead, he chose to remain in federal politics. This was his message to Nova Scotians.
