Situated on a small island about 15 minutes from the historic Town of Lunenburg is a house known by locals as the “Tom Selleck” house. It has this name because it’s where the television movie series Jesse Stone was filmed.
Tom Selleck plays the title character, who is a New England police chief investigating a series of murders.
The house recently came off the market after selling for over half a million dollars. It sold for $41,000 over asking, a lot for a home that doesn’t have septic or running water in the winter.
“If you are the kind of person who falls in love with a property, this property is for you.” said the listing and someone must have done just that because the original listing was for $489,000.
The home is on an island that is accessed by walking across a foot bridge. The property was being offered furnished or unfurnished.
