Fans are crying foul after a woman was told in the final round of Wheel of Fortune that she wouldn’t be awarded an Audi Q3 after solving the puzzle correctly.
Charlene incorrectly guessed “choosing the right card” initially, but before the buzzer went off she guessed correctly, “choosing the right word”.
The issue is she took too long of a pause between saying, “choosing the right…” and saying “word.”
“You know, this one’s tough because you said all the right words, including the word ‘word,’ but, as you know, it’s gotta be more or less continuous,” said host Pat Sajak.
There was outcry on social media and even Audi stepped in saying it wanted to locate Charlene. Eventually fans tracked her down and Audi has made Charlene a winner and awarded her a brand new Audi Q3.
