Frost Advisories For Parts Of Mainland Nova Scotia And Cape Breton – Temps Could Dip To Zero

Environment Canada has issued frost advisories in parts of Nova Scotia’s mainland and Cape Breton Island for early tomorrow morning, Wednesday September 16.

Temperatures could dip as low as 0º to 4º with the coldest temperatures in low lying areas.

The combination of cool temperatures, light winds and clear skies will create favourable conditions for frost.

You will want to bring in your plants tonight to prepare for the cold weather. Environment Canada issues frost advisories during the growing season when cold weather could damage or destroy crops.

Don’t fear, temperatures will rebound during the day and our fall weather forecast calls for above normal temperatures in our future.
