As of 9:00 PM, RCMP continue to search for the subject of an Emergency Alert in Pictou County. There is no longer an immediate threat to the public.
Officers remain in the area of Sergeant Lane in River John searching for David Chisholm, aged 35.
Chisholm is described as 5 foot 6 inches tall, 145 pounds, with a shaved head and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a black sweater. Chisholm is believed to be on foot.
