An Increase In Gas Prices As We Head Into A Long Weekend For Some


A long weekend for some is approaching and you can expect to be paying more at the pumps beginning at midnight tonight.

The price of regular self serve gasoline is currently selling for a minimum of 149.0 cents per litre and diesel is selling for a minimum of 188.5 cents per litre in the Halifax area.

When you wake up Friday morning expect to be paying a minimum of 152.5 cents per litre for gasoline, an increase of 3.5 cents per litre. The minimum price for diesel will be set at 184.6 a decrease of 3.9 cents per litre.

As always prices will be a bit higher outside of Halifax.
