Nova Scotia’s Most Famous Tree, The Shubenacadie Tree Was A Victim Of Fiona

The province’s favourite and most famous tree has fallen victim to Post-Tropical Cyclone Fiona. Situated in the middle of a field, the tree was dubbed the “Shubenacadie tree” by many due to its proximity to Shubenacadie.

It was a landmark for generations of Nova Scotians passing on Highway 102. The tree was estimated to be 300 years old.
