Sobeys is introducing Senior Shopping Hours at participating locations this Friday, March 20 to protect the highly vulnerable senior population. This policy will be effective going forward.
It is important that we practice social distancing at the moment, but even more so for the senior population. That is why Sobeys is introducing the first hour of business to those in this group.
Earlier this week, Atlantic Superstore’s parent company, Loblaws, introduced a similar policy.

This decision by Sobeys will allow seniors to have access to items that they require before the general public enters on any given day.
