Halifax Burger Week Is Coming And If You Mask You Shall Receive

Halifax’s Burger Week is making its return and will be one heck of a time with good food and fun in support of Feed Nova Scotia.

Since 2013, The Coast has put on Halifax Burger Week with the initiative raising $560,000 for Feed Nova Scotia. Of course, none of that would be possible without the help of countless local restaurants and the thousands of Haligonians and visitors that turn up to indulge.

Burger Week is the largest fundraiser for Feed Nova Scotia other than the organizations own fundraising.

Burger offerings have a set price of $7 or the restaurant can set a higher price and the restaurant will make a donation to Feed Nova Scotia for each burger sold.

This year’s Burger Week runs from October 14th – October 23rd. The Burger Week passport has yet to be released, but it will guide you to the best burgers in town and will include many local favourite locations. Be sure to check out Halifax Burger Week and help raise some much needed funds for Feed Nova Scotia.

The slogan on Burger Week’s website is: mask and you shall receive. It should be noted, Nova Scotia’s mandatory masking is set to end September 15. It will be up to individual businesses after this date as to what health measures they will require.
