Canada Post is inviting all Canadians to an online unveiling of new stamps to mark the 100th anniversary of Bluenose’s launch. Canada’s most recognized sailing vessel was launched in 1921 from Smith & Rhuland Shipyard of Lunenburg, NS. This year Bluenose 100 celebrates her centennial.
Bluenose excelled as a fishing and racing schooner. Today Canadians across the country recognize Bluenose for her image on Canada’s dime.
You can tune in to the unveiling Tuesday, June 29 at 11AM. The event will take place in Ottawa and Lunenburg and will be broadcast on Facebook.
