With March Break approaching and many Canadians planning on travelling to warmer climates during the holiday, passports are becoming hot items to get your hands on.
If you are without an immediate need and are looking for a less hectic office than the one in Downtown Halifax there is another option in Nova Scotia for you.
The Service Canada Centre in Dartmouth processes passport applications within 20 days, but has no pickup option and you have to account for the fact that it will be mailed to you. You can either walk-in or book an appointment.
The office is located in Belmount House on the 3rd floor at 33 Alderley Drive. The Dartmouth location is a great alternative to the Halifax office if you have time to wait and are not in a rush to receive your passport.
If you can’t make it to Dartmouth all other Service Canada Centres in Nova Scotia can process passport applications within 20 days.
