Province Reporting 20 New Cases Of COVID-19 (Wednesday, November 24, 2021)

Nova Scotia is reporting 20 new cases of COVID-19 and 31 recoveries. The province has 172 active cases of COVID-19. Eighteen people are in hospital including six in ICU.

There are 12 cases being reported in Central Zone, six cases in Northern Zone and two cases in Eastern Zone. There is evidence of limited community spread in Halifax and northern Nova Scotia.

The Province says there are no new cases at the East Cumberland Lodge long-term care home in Pugwash. Thirty-two residents and 11 staff members have tested positive for COVID-19. Three residents have died of the virus.

On November 23, four schools were notified of an exposure(s) at their school. A full list of schools is available here.
