The escaped inmate from the Central Nova Correctional Facility has been arrested by RCMP in Greenwood, NS according to Halifax Regional Police.
Inmate Ryan Taylor Wilband, 43, was reported missing from the correctional facility Monday and escaped at approximately 12:30 PM.
Halifax Regional Police had requested the public’s assistance in finding him.
Wilband was in custody at the facility on several charges, including robbery, theft, possession of a weapon dangerous to the public and breaches of probation.
The Department of Justice is conducting a full review of this incident.
