Nova Scotia’s Premier, Iain Rankin told The Rick Howe Show this morning that the Province will be reporting 16 new cases of COVID-19 today.

This is the highest daily case number since June 8, 2021 when the Province reported 17 new cases.

Fifteen of the cases are in Central Zone. Eleven are close contacts and four are related to travel. The close contacts are within a linked group of families and do not represent wide community spread.

The other case is in Eastern Zone and is related to travel.

The Premier saud there is a “small cluster” of cases and all have been traced.

This is a developing story, more to come.
