The Halifax Regional Municipality has announced that the winter parking ban will be enforced overnight 1am-6am due to the incoming storm.
The ban will be in place both for Zone 1 Central and Zone 2 Non-Central.
In previous winter seasons targeted snow removal in certain downtown areas was required when the ban was not enforced. The change to create two zones is designed to improve service delivery leveraging overnight winter parking bans that can accommodate targeted snow removal.
