Today, August 23, the Province of Nova Scotia is reporting two new cases of COVID-19 in the Northern Zone. The cases are under investigation by Public Health.
The province currently has seven active cases.
The province is also reporting one additional death related to COVID-19, bringing the total to 65. A male over 80 has died in the Northern Zone.

“This is a stark reminder that COVID-19 is still in our province and is still a risk. We all must continue to work together and follow the public health advice and protocols to protect each other and keep our citizens as safe as possible.”
