Nova Scotia’s own, Mattea Roach, will be returning to primetime in a new show that has just been ordered by American television network ABC.
Jepardy! Masters will see six of the highest-ranked contestants from the syndicated quiz show facing off against each other. The most winningest Jeopardy! contestant of all time, Ken Jennings will serve as host.
ABC is calling the show a “Champions League style” competition, with a series of games featuring some of the best players in recent years.
Matt Amodio, Sam Buttrey, Andrew He, James Holzhauer, Amy Schneider and Halifax’s Mattea Roach will compete.
Each hour-long episode features two games with different combinations of the six contestants, only one will be crowned champion!
A release date for the series has yet to be set.
