Downtown Halifax To Get Possible Higher End Winners Store In Scotia Square

Here’s what we have so far. Halifax’s retail know-it-all Arthur Gaudreau mentioned in a post on his Halifax Retales website that Downtown Halifax is going to be home to a new Winners store.

The new store will be located in Scotia Square and the plan is for it to have its own entrance off Duke Street.

Where it gets interesting is sources tell us that it’s possible that the store will include some higher end items featuring Winners low prices which they have come to be known for. This would make sense because these items can be found in many downtown locations of the clothing chain in larger cities like Toronto and Montreal.

We’re told that the store will still carry the items that Winners has come to be known for, but downtown locations are sometimes given priority for higher-end items.

Don’t run Downtown tomorrow to go shopping though. The store opening is still 2-3 years away from what we hear.
