Thanksgiving weekend is almost here and you can expect to be paying way more at the pumps for both gasoline and diesel when you wake in the morning.
Right now, gasoline is currently selling for a minimum of 157.2 cents per litre in the Halifax region and diesel is selling for a minimum of 197.9 cents per litre. Prices are higher outside of the Halifax area.
At midnight tonight or when you wake in the morning, expect gas prices to be raised to a minimum of 165.2 cents per litre, an increase of 8 cents per litre. The price of diesel will skyrocket to 212.9 cents per litre, an increase of 15 cents per litre.
Diesel already went up by 11.9 cents per litre this week after the interrupter clause was invoked to increase prices. This next increase will mean a 26.9 cent rise per litre over three days.
As always prices will be higher outside of the city.
