After Mounting Pressure, Well-Liked C.B. Politician Keith Bain Has Submitted His Resignation As Speaker

Just a week ago, well liked Cape Breton politician Keith Bain, Speaker of The House, made it clear in a Facebook post that he would not resign as Speaker. He said that it was his duty to continue until a time the House declares he shouldn’t.

The PC Caucus announced this afternoon that Keith Bain would resign on April 1, 2023.
