Peace by Chocolate is based in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, and was founded by the Hadhad family. The Hadhads are a Syrian family that immigrated to Canada during the Syrian war. They settled in Antigonish, where they started their business from their home kitchen.
Peace By Chocolate just opened a new storefront on Main Street in Antigonish. The store is a winter wonderland of holiday treats and presents, with a wide variety of chocolates, and other sweets. The Hadhads are excited to have a new larger physical space in town where customers can come and experience the joy of their chocolates.

If you can’t make it to Antigonish they also have a storefront in Downtown Halifax in the new Queen’s Marque development on Lower Water Street. You can also purchase their delicious chocolate on their website, peacebychocolate.ca and have it shipped across North America.
The company quickly gained popularity for its delicious chocolate treats in Nova Scotia, and soon the Hadhads were selling their chocolates all over the country. In 2017, the company was recognized by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau for its success in Canada.
