McPizza began to trend on Twitter because McDonald’s Canada tweeted “the thing you’ve been asking for arrives 08.31.2021.”
Canadians were in love with McDonald’s Pizza when it was removed from the fast food giant’s menu. McDonalds Canada said although the pizza was a popular item in Canada, the prep time was about 11 minutes, which was way too long for the restaurant.
“For now, our pizzas will have to remain a tasty bit of history” McDonald’s said in 2012. Which left many wondering if it would ever make a triumphant return.
McDonald’s announced on twitter that it will not be the McPizza making it’s return to the menu in its big reveal at the end of the month.
Whatever the new menu item is, it will be announced on Tuesday, August 31, 2021. Stay tuned!
