Downtown Halifax’s Scotiabank Centre is closed until further notice.
Contradicting this, as of 10:00pm on Monday evening, Ticket Atlantic was still selling tickets for James Taylor and Bonnie Raitt who called off their Canadian tour in an announcement this morning.
If you have tickets or were planning to buy for an upcoming event in the foreseeable future please take notice of the following.

Scotiabank Centre hasn’t said what will happen with tickets to current events, but many Halifax bound concert tours that have cancelled said ticket will be refunded.
A statement from James Taylor who was scheduled to play Halifax on his Canadian concert tour said, “James here. I’ve had so many messages urging me to announce a decision regarding our upcoming Canadian tour. We were so looking forward to the tour, it breaks my heart to call it off. But that’s what we must do. All the medical information suggests that small and large gatherings may well put people at risk. That is the last thing we would ever want to do. I hope we can reschedule for the not-too-distant future. We will have an announcement tomorrow about how you can obtain a refund if you purchased a ticket to one of our Canadian concerts.”
