Nova Scotia firework experts Fireworks FX are putting on the largest fireworks display over Atlantic Canada since Halifax’s Tall Ships of 2017.
The fireworks are going to be shot off from two large barges in Halifax Harbour.
The date of the show is August 27th and it’s sure to be one of the last major events of the summer season. This is the same night as the free April Wine concert on the Dartmouth waterfront.

“Humans are a very social species and since March 2020 we’ve been deprived of a lot of that interaction.” Fred Wade, President of Fireworks FX told Nova Scotia Buzz. “Fireworks play a big part of many celebrations not only in Atlantic Canada but all over the world, we hope that this spectacular show to end the summer will give people a chance to forget about all the bad things going on and to be a child again and to gaze at the night sky in wonder.”
