Interrupter Clause Goes Into Effect At Midnight: Gas Will Continue Climb To Over $1.75 Per Litre

Get ready for an even bigger hit on the pocket book.

The Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board has announced that effective tonight at midnight (Friday night) the price of gas will be adjusted.

The price of Regular Self-serve gas climbed to 166.6 cents per litre this morning and it turns out that will be short lived.

At midnight tonight, the price of gas will soar to a minimum 175.3 cents per litre in the Halifax area and be even higher outside of the city. This sets another an all time new price record for Nova Scotia.

Diesel will soar to a minimum of $190.1 reaching ever closer to the $2 per litre mark.

Motorists are advised to fill up if they wish to save some money.
