Like most Canadians, Canada Post is counting down the days until Christmas. In the final days of November, Canada Post delivered almost 3 million parcels across Canada. That includes approximately 2.1 million parcels delivered on the last day of the month.
Canada Post has fully implemented plans to scale up and stay safe while responding to the expected heavy holiday parcel volumes.
Postal workers are busy processing letters to Santa and Christmas present parcels around the clock. Canada Post encourages anyone sending a parcel or a card to friends and family this holiday to do so as early as possible so the system isn’t overwhelmed close to Christmas.
