
Stanley Cup champion and Olympic gold medalist Sidney Crosby will have to make some room on his award’s shelf. He won an Emmy Award recently for being a producer in the the video “Merci Sidney” which highlighted his trip to Rimouski, Quebec where he played junior hockey in the QMJHL.
His award was presented at the the 2020 Mid-Atlantic Regional Emmy Awards. He won for his feature which highlights the retiring of his #87 with the Rimouski Océanic.
This is Crosby’s second Emmy, he also won for a video he produced about his home town, Cole Harbour and home province, Nova Scotia.
