Halifax Burger Week Is Back And You Can Support Local Restaurants – It’s Going To Be Better Than Ever

Get ready for 10 days of enjoying the best burgers the city has to offer! Halifax Burger Week is back after being postponed for six months.

The celebration of burgers, which raises money for Feed Nova Scotia while supporting local restaurants, runs for 10 days in October. It all begins Thursday, October 22 and runs until Saturday, October 31.

Burger Week is normally held in the spring as an opportunity for local restaurants and pubs to get crowds through their doors during what is a normally quite time. Having the celebration right now is important because local eateries are suffering due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Burger Week’s Facebook page says it will look different this year. There’s going to be physical distancing, mandatory masks and handwashing opportunities. Many locations will be offering a takeout option if you don’t wish to dine in.

They also state the things that make Burger Week great haven’t changed at all. “Supporting local business, raising money for Feed Nova Scotia and tasty burgers for days.”
