Tributes are pouring in for Dartmouth, Nova Scotia’s Pat Stay who sources say was the victim of a stabbing in Downtown Halifax early Sunday morning. Stay was internationally known as an acclaimed battle rapper.
Halifax Regional Police responded to a weapons call in the early hours of September 4th in the 1600 block of Lower Water Street.
Stay was transported to hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
“Pat Stay’s definitely one of, if not, the best.” said rap superstar Drake in a previous interview.
In his Instagram story, Stay was posting video from a wedding he had been attending before he was killed.
Memorial details have not been released yet.
