Employees were aware of the Barrington Passage incident and no one had handled the package or suffered adverse effects. Bridgewater Police seized the package for testing.
Yarmouth RCMP responded to a complaint of a similar package shortly after 1 PM on Monday at Conservative MP Chris d’Entremont’s office. The employee who handled the package experienced skin irritation but did not open the package and did not require medical attention. Yarmouth Town RCMP seized the package for testing.
At approximately 7:45 PM Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of suspicious envelopes that had been delivered to Halifax City Hall. No injuries or illness were reported in relation to the delivery.
Members from the Forensic Identification Section attended and seized the envelopes and testing is being done on their contents.
