Kids vs. Aliens is the latest feature film from Hobo With a Shotgun director, Jason Eisner. The New York Times has taken notice and added it to their list “Five Science Fiction Movies to Stream Now.”
Filmed in Dartmouth, NS, which happens to be Eisner’s hometown, we noticed a few other Nova Scotia backdrops as well.
The movie is a bit more than an hour long and revolves around a teen Halloween house party that turns to terror when aliens attack. Two warring siblings, Gary and Sam, need to band together while their parents are away to survive the night.
“Looking like actors in rubber suits, they have an underwater lair, vomit acid-like green goo and kill everybody in sight — in other words, they are perfect.” said the New York Times about the aliens.
The movie is available to rent now on Amazon, YouTube, Apple TV and more. The movie is unrated and has some strong language.
