Nova Scotia Buzz
Tonight, Cape Breton fire departments, along with ground crews and a helicopter from Lands and Forestry responded to a forest fire call near Big Pond.
Crews also responded to a call near New Victoria for a woods fire.
This is a perfect time to remind, that no matter how much you have the temptation for a bonfire, now is not the time. The forests in Nova Scotia are tinder dry and a burn ban extends across the province.
