Today, Monday. August 31, the Province of Nova Scotia is reporting two new cases of COVID-19. One in the Western Zone and one in the Eastern Zone.
The province currently has seven active cases and tested 862 people on Sunday, August 30.
One announced today is located at Université Sainte-Anne, in Church Point, Nova Scotia.
The province is also announcing two probable cases. One at Dalhousie University in Halifax and the other at Acadia University in Wolfville. Both students have come to Nova Scotia from outside the Atlantic bubble and live off-campus. They have been isolating as required.
Since the probable cases haven’t been confirmed to be positive, they are not included in the province’s total positive case number.
To date, the province has had 1,085 positive COVID-19 tests and 65 deaths related to the virus.

Prince Edward Island – Three active cases
