Representatives from the bureau will be present at the evacuation center located at the Canada Games Centre on Tuesday, May 30, to address the concerns of affected residents. Furthermore, future opportunities will be available in the coming days for residents to meet with insurance representatives.

A local state of emergency remains in effect for the area affected by wildfires.

Resources on scene include: 170 firefighters from Halifax, 32 DNRR staff, three helicopters and one waterbomber from Newfoundland and Labrador.
