Nova Scotians will be celebrating Groundhog Day with Shubenacadie Same in person and online when the famous groundhog delivers its annual forecast from the Shubenacadie Wildlife Park on February 2 at 8:00 AM.
Groundhog folklore says winter will last for six more weeks if the groundhog sees its shadow. No shadow seen by the groundhog is a sign of early spring.

If you are attending in person, Shubenacadie Wildlife Park will be open February 2 from 7:30 am until noon.
