This Nova Scotia Village Is Decked Out For Christmas And Has Renamed Its Streets For The Holidays

Christmas is a magical time of the year filled with family get-togethers, tree lightings and holiday music.

The Cape Breton Island village of St. Peter’s gets into the spirit by transforming for the Christmas season. The village has taken the effort to rename some of the streets in the community for the holidays.

St. Peter’s will truly be in the Christmas spirit this Sunday, December 4 as they light the village’s Christmas tree. Santa will make a visit, there will be hot chocolate, cookies and candy canes. Students of East Richmond Education Centre will be singing carols. The Village on The Canal Association will also be accepting gently used winter coats for needy families. Festivities get underway at 3:00 PM.

Special thanks to JoePop Images of St. Peter’s for providing the photo of Santa Claus.
