In the face of the devastating wildfires engulfing areas of Nova Scotia, the Trailer Park Boys have stepped forward to lend their support to Nova Scotia Buzz in raising funds for the Canadian Red Cross. The beloved Nova Scotians, have released a video with Nova Scotia Buzz seeking donations for the Canadian Red Cross Nova Scotia & Atlantic Canada Fires Appeal.

The raging wildfires have forced the evacuation of numerous families across the region. Tantallon, Hammonds Plains, and approximately 50% of Shelburne County have been evacuated, leaving many residents displaced and in need of assistance. Many have lost their homes or had them sustain significant damage in the wildfires. Officials say the recovery will take years.
Nova Scotia & Atlantic Canada Fires Appeal will be utilized in assisting those most impacted in the most affected areas in Nova Scotia and other Atlantic provinces with immediate and ongoing relief, recovery and resilience efforts in response to the wildfires, as well as supporting community preparedness and risk reduction for future all-hazard disaster events within Atlantic Canada.
