According to Panada Pizza of Dartmouth and Halifax, the late Pat Stay was a regular at their pizza shop.
Stay, an internationally acclaimed battle rapper, was stabbed on the 1600 block of Lower Water Street in Halifax and would later die from his injuries. The Nova Scotia Medical Examiner Service has ruled his death a homicide.
Panada Pizza says Stay would joke with their customers, make them laugh and brighten their day.

“Pat was a larger then life, gentle giant, with the biggest heart I have ever came across. He would bend over backwards to make the next person happy.” said Panada Pizza on Facebook.

Back in 2017 on one of his visits to Panada Pizza, Pat and the store got talking about designing a new menu item for customers. Pat loved donairs and in the meeting they kept adding and adding toppings. The Sucka Free Donair was created and it was an instant hit.
The Sucka Free Donair includes donair meat, fries, onion rings, pepperoni, a donair egg roll, cheese, tomatoes, onions, bacon and donair sauce all in a donair wrap for $21.99.
In honour of Pat Stay, for the rest of the month, Panada Pizza will be donating all proceeds from their Sucka Free Donair to Pat Stay’s family.
You can visit Panada Pizza at 61 Highfield Park Drive in Dartmouth or at 55 Supreme Court in Halifax.
