It looks like all you can do this year is dream of a white Christmas. According to The Weather Network, Nova Scotia and most of Atlantic Canada have a very low chance of having snow on the ground.
The annual Holiday Snow Report says that although we had a significant snowfall, things are going to warm up and the snow will melt. That mild pattern will continue through Christmas and Nova Scotians can expect a green ground.

Weather will be active, but it’s mostly going to rain. Expect a wet storm system to move through on Christmas and Boxing Day.
After Christmas, temperatures are due to drop again. The first day of winter is December 21 and without a doubt the snow will return eventually.
