Twenty-two year old Taylor Boudreau-Deveaux has quite the story to tell after surviving an encounter with a shark off Margaree Island in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.
Nova Scotia RCMP have said the woman had been airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after being bitten by what was believed to be a shark.
Boudreau-Deveaux had been swimming off a boat when she encountered the shark.
Her grandfather, Wayne Boudreau took to Facebook this evening to say his granddaughter is doing fine after the encounter. According to her grandfather she has a big smile and lots of stiches.
