This Nova Scotia Town Is The Hottest Place In Canada Right Now

Various locations in Nova Scotia have been exchanging the title of the hottest spot in Canada over the last few weeks.

Environment Canada currently has a Heat Warning out for southern and western Nova Scotia. Just last week, the entire province was under a Heat Warning.

Depending where you are today, you’re either going to need t-shirt and shorts or a sweater. Temperatures are cool on the coast and warm inland.

If you live in Greenwood or are travelling through, you’d be advised to have a cool drink ready. As of 3:00pm on Wednesday, August 5, Environment Canada is reporting that the hot spot in Canada is Greenwood, Nova Scotia with a temperature of 30.3 degrees Celsius and it feels like 36.

The coolest spot in Nova Scotia happens to be the mainland’s most southerly point, Baccaro Point at 14.8 degrees Celsius.

The Heat Warning should end this evening with the remainder of the week looking good for the province. There’s a chance of some showers and a mix of sun and cloud.
