According to a release they have heard from a number of people who are unsure about speaking up because they felt others were more directly affected than them. The Commission says they want to hear from people across Nova Scotia, Canada and beyond.

“No matter where you are, your experience and perspective matters.” says the release.

Based on feedback the Mass Casualty Commission has created a survey that the public can use to share their experience. It will be available until March 8, 2022. You can complete the survey here.

You can view the questions in advance to plan your response here. All stories and experiences gathered through the survey will be reviewed by the Commission. The Commission says the information will help inform their recommendations and ensure the broad impact of the mass casualty is reflected in the final report.

For those who need assistance or would like to set up a time to speak to someone directly either over the telephone, video call, or in person as COVID-19 restrictions allow, you can email info@masscasualtycommission.ca or call (902) 407-7532 or toll-free 1 (833) 635-2501.
