UPDATED: Rogers Says Customers Will Be Reimbursed After Massive National Disruption – No ETA For Fix

Update: Some Rogers services are coming back online as of late Friday evening.

Millions likely won’t rest easy tonight knowing Rogers Communications and their other companies such as Fido will proactively reimburse customers for their nation-wide service outage.

Rogers outage has affected many more than everyday Rogers customers. Canadians have been without Interac debit services and e-mail money transfers from most major banks due to the outage. Some government services are also unavailable due to the issue.

At the moment there is no estimated time of service restoration. CBC’s Power and Politics was told by Kyle Prigg, Rogers Senior Vice President, Rogers has no root cause of today’s outage
