Today, the Province of Nova Scotia is reporting 19 new cases of COVID-19. There are currently 163 active cases in the province. Fifteen are in hospital of which five are in ICU. There has been 21 recoveries.
Nine of the new cases reported are in Northern Zone. Eight new cases are reported in Central Zone and two new cases are in Western Zone.
The province is reporting a fifth patient in a non-COVID unit at Valley Regional Hospital in Kentville has tested positive for COVID-19. One is in intensive care at the hospital.
