Potential COVID-19 Exposures In Halifax, Bedford, **Correction In Membertou** + 1 Flight (Wednesday, November 3, 2021)

There are potential COVID-19 exposures to be aware of in Halifax, Bedford and one correction to be aware of Membertou. There has also been an exposure on a flight to Halifax.

COVID PRECAUTION NOTIFICATION (there has been a potential exposure of minimal risk to the public)

If you were present at the following locations on the named dates and times, you are required to follow the instructions in this table below for a COVID-19 Precaution Notification based on your vaccination status.

  • The Cut (5120 Salter Street, Halifax) on October 29 between 5:30 p.m. and 9:30p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, November 12.
  • The Pint (1575 Argyle Street, Halifax) on October 29 between 9:30 p.m. and 11:00p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, November 12.
  • Millstone Public House (50 Gary Martin Drive, Bedford) on October 30 between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, November 13.
  • The Den (2182 Gottingen Street, Halifax) between 11:30 p.m. on October 30 and 2:30 a.m. on October 31. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, November 14.

COVID EXPOSURE NOTIFICATION (the public has had close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19)

If you were in the following location on the named date and times, you are required to follow the instructions in the table below.

  • *CORRECTION* Membertou Sports and Wellness Centre – “Emera Arena” only (3W4 95 Maillard Street, Membertou) on October 30 between 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, November 13.
  • WestJet 254 travelling on October 26 from Toronto (10:15 p.m.) to Halifax (1:27 a.m. on October 27). Passengers in rows 5-11, seats A, B, C and D. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on this flight on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, November 10.

For those for whom testing is recommended or required, please book your COVID-19 test at https://covid-self-assessment.novascotia.ca/en or call 811 if you don’t have online access, or if you have other symptoms that concern you. When booking your test online, please select the reason for testing as: I was at one of the exposure sites at the date and time identified in a recent Public Health public service announcement or letter where testing was recommended. Please get tested at a COVID-19 testing centre or public health mobile unit; do not go to a pop-up rapid testing location.
