Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s father, WWE Hall of Famer, Rocky Johnson has passed away at the age of 75. Born in Amherst, Nova Scotia, at the age of 16 he moved to Toronto where he began wrestling and working as a truck driver. He originally got into boxing and sparred with some of the greats such as Muhammad Ali and George Foreman, but his love of wrestling got to him.
In 1982 Rocky joined the WWF and with his tag team partner Tony Atlas, won the WWF Tag Team Championship, the first black duo to do so. Most recently he was living in Florida.
