On Sunday August 2, Nova Scotia is reporting four active cases of COVID-19. Two new cases were identified on Saturday, August 1 and are related to travel outside of Canada.
The new cases are in the Central Zone. The individuals have been in self-isolation, as required. One case is connected to the two reported last week.
The QEII Health Sciences Centre’s microbiology lab completed 334 Nova Scotia tests on August 1.
There have been 1,071 positive COVID-19 cases and 64 deaths in Nova Scotia since the pandemic began.
