Live Nation, the promoters of major touring concerts such as Elton John and Billie Eilish are expected to announce imminently that they are suspending tours across Canada.
Concerts upcoming in Halifax that could be affected include:
- Michael Buble
- James Taylor with Bonnie Raitt
- Jann Arden Live
- The Black Keys
- ZZ TOP
According to Billboard.com the American events company will instruct all touring shows to return home, effective March 13.
Live Nation allegedly told employees that it will re-evaluate the decision at the beginning of April, with the goal of resuming touring in May or June. Hopefully things have cleared up by May as most of the above concerts are scheduled for May in Halifax.
